We are a Bible/Word based church that equips every believer for works of ministry and in so doing, fulfil the great commission. (Matthew 28). Romans 12:2. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
We are a family church that actively cares for the orphans, widows and the poor . James 1:27. 27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
We are a church that is not legalistic, under law but one that is free, under grace. Matthew 23:23 New International Version (NIV) 23 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law, justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.

My name is Joe, my wife is Cathy and we have two wonderful children, Daniel and Victoria.

We were part of the eldership team at Cornerstone Church, Johannesburg from 2013 until April 2021 in a marketplace capacity. We had the privilege of leading the Yeoville site for 5 and a half years.

In March 2018 we felt called to start a church. We didn’t know where and when. All we knew is what is on Gods’ heart…people, people, people.

Two years later in 2020, we knew we were to plant in Killarney, Johannesburg but we didn’t know when. On the 1st of August 2021 we had our first official meeting in Killarney/Houghton in Johannesburg, South Africa. We believe that God has determined the times and places we are to be born and live, He also Has a plan and a purpose, ultimately for His glory (Act17:26).
